  格里高利·波将金公爵于1791年死于肺炎,他的遗体被埋在赫尔松的圣叶卡捷琳娜大教堂中,赫尔松沦陷后,他的遗体被掘出运往俄罗斯,因为他在俄土战争中占领了克里米亚;

  2022年6月,艾尔米塔什博物馆馆长米哈伊尔·皮奥特罗夫斯基在俄罗斯官方媒体上发表文章,称俄罗斯在国外的艺术展览是“一场强大的文化攻势”,是“特别军事行动”,接着,他说:“斯基泰战争的第一阶段已经结束。我们退了又退,现在我们不再退了。”并且将其与普希金写的关于俄土战争的诗歌相提并论。2023年4月,他又接受了同一家媒体俄罗斯报Российская газета的采访,在这场采访中,他重申了他的立场:“当我的国家做出了历史性的选择时,我和我的国家站在一起这一点很重要。”他的儿子也叫鲍里斯,是圣彼得堡州的副州长,去年访问了被围困的马里乌波尔。

  本片导演亚历山大·索科洛夫于2022年6月试图前往米兰参加一场艺术会议,但他在出境时被边防人员阻拦,并且没收了他的护照。这可能是因为他一直直言不讳地批评普京,2021年12月,他被拍到在俄罗斯人权委员会的会议上与弗拉基米尔·普京发生口角。而在2022年3月,他直言不讳地批评战争,并且在2014年也批评对克里米亚的吞并。
